Carry on with your powerlifting, numbers, sets, etc, add in the cardio and your body will soon keep up and you will be fine. No loss of strength at all i bet!

Ive dropped around 8kg now and feel no weaker so far.


Yeah I will admit I have put on a fair chunk up here and need to sort it out.

Going to do my assistance work in a more cardio type way. Heavy sets low reps for bench squat and deads and then high reps low rest for assistance exercises.

Gonna try the 60kg clean and press challenge what time should I be aiming for?

240 x 2 very hard on lower back so was scared to really drop down and drive fast up it was a slow descent and a slow ascent Unhappy couple more sessions and back will be stronger again Happy

Deadlifts
Straps

After not deadlifting for 4 or 5 weeks was happy with this Happy

After been ill last few weeks I'm wondering if competing is really worth it. Might do some fun strongman comps and still try get as strong as possible but stay fit and healthy as well. Really don't enjoy been the out of breath, knackered, tired strong person would rather sacrifice a little strength for the time being and get a bit healthier and maybe lose some tub Grin

CROSSFIT!!!!!

Couldn't get to gym yesterday because of work and today because of problems with the car Unhappy

Press ups x 10 Sit ups x 10 then 9,8,7,6,etc

2 sets of this just so I was doing something today felt knackered afterwards might time it next time

Was so knackered after this I called it a day haha this shows how unfit I am

Squats

160 x 8 last one paused mainly because I thought quad was injured but was my leg hair been pulled in the knee sleeves haha

Leg extensions x 3 sets 20 reps

This is my proper return to training now. Started coughing bits of blood up last week after training so thought I still needed time off to recover properly and hopefully now it will start to get better and I can focus on training again. Will hopefully be doing more cardio type stuff and higher rep/circuit training after my heavy basics. Also going to start a mma class to help my fitness.

Felt good today to say been away for 3 weeks. Core feels a bit weak so think that hindered my squats more than legs strength. 220 for 3 is actually a PB haha but only ever been up to 220 without wraps once last summer I think.

2 weeks getting back into the swing of things then back on track with PBs before september Happy

Still looks a solid performance and your still a beast Happy

Like people said don't focus on weight just hammer your weaknesses and next year you'll be cruising to bsm
