Yeah , it really is a massive issue with deadlifting type movements , everything else feels strong as hell but if i deadlift now i pull it away from my legs linewise ,it seems my body wants to try and get past where the rib muscle is required to work , and it just causes so much pain in the following days.

If i had a damaged back from deadlifting i could understand that , but being held back by a torn muscle in my ribs is mega depressing !!!

Bench is fine , deads are not great to be honest m8 , they cause me so much pain i really am considering dropping them entirely until right before comp time Unhappy

Saving myself on the bench , focussing on Fridays pressing session more for next few weeks than Wed.First 300kg dl of the year , not too bad a lift considering how dl has been going recently , and i even failed a 260 pull with mixed grip tonight because of the discomfort , but with doh and straps it was far better...strange thing these bodies!
