Monday 8th August 08:00 -- AM Session

Squat
20kg x 5 x 4
40kg x 3
60kg x 3
80kg x 3
belt on
100kg x 3
120kg x 2
130kg x 1
140kg x 1
147.5kg x 5 PB

Sweet, fourth rep was a grind but the fifth wasn't, odd.

Deadlift
60kg x 3
80kg x 2
100kg x 1
120kg x 1
140kg x 1
160kg x 1
180kg x 1
195kg x 1
205kg x 1 PB

Wahoo, matched my equipped deadlift PB without a suit on. Best thing is that I don't think I was 100% today. The last couple of inches were a mega grind.

150kg x 1
157.5kg x 1 PB

I didn't expect this today after a weekend of poor recovery modalities over the weekend but I felt good warming up and hit it confidently.

Bench, pinky on ring

40kg x 3
60kg x 3
70kg x 2
80kg x 1
90kg x 1

100kg x 1

Volume went missing as I ran out of time, unfortunately.

My left calf felt tight, probably due to over three hours of sitting on trains earlier in the day. The daily max felt poor, but working back up I felt better and hit a nice triple.

OK.

Nice log, good work on keeping it entertaining Grin

I gotta call BS on this though...!
Wiegieboard said:For the hook grip though, I'm kinda fecked. My hand are too small to use hook grip Unhappy
I almost guarantee my hands are smaller than yours (my non-lifting friend once laughed out loud when he noticed how small my hands are) but I've held 170kg on my third go at hook grip. My grip in general is mediocre at best. Also, all the tiny olympic weightlifters manage it.

Man up and do it! Happy

What are your goals?

I personally wouldn't get any kind of suit if I wasn't going to be using one in competition.
