Those pussies don't know what a tight suit is, not one of them! Come down when I'm there, there are secret methods for getting in and out. They refuse to learn these specialist arts... It offends me how loose they wear their suits....
Hmm, interesting... fancy teaching me? Happy

Most people find they carry over to equipped squatting the most.

Titan Super Centurion.

Single ply with your strength and you shouldn't have problems with a tight fit either.

Edit: Wide stance version. Regular stance is just for people that squat shoulder width stance as far as I can tell.

My advice would be to save your money and just use caffeine (i was previously told 4-6mg per kg of bodyweight)
Having said what I said above, I'd agree with this, though the caffeine dose is very dependent on how tolerant you are. Best bet is to start with one cup of coffees worth - 70-100mg and see how that feels. Starting with upwards of 250mg seems pretty heavy duty and tolerance will build up faster. The less you can use the better imo.

I don't imagine there are many that aren't safe. The only thing in a pre-workout drink likely to be banned is some kind of stimulants and the vast majority use (legal) caffeine and other legal things.

Best bet is to google all ingredients and of those that are stimulants, check closer on the ban list if you aren't sure.

Fair enough!

Another thought.

The side view will help, but I've got a feeling your upper back is rounding forwards. That can't be a strength issue, surely. A few cues that help me when I do this: elbows drive forward, arch as hard as possible, chest upright as possible. This rounding is different to forward lean.

Watch how Andy manges not to round here: http://youtu.be/be6dk8ZVO7E

Do you see what I'm getting at? Happy

THIS was in, what's changed since then?

FWIW I don't think you are far off. A better angle would certainly help. Any view from the side you can get as close to hip height as possible.

Riain took a video of one of my warm ups on 120kg I think. Sadly it wasn't on his phone. Maybe he could find it in his heart to aquire the video... If not, I'll be warming up with these tomorrow before suiting up, maybe I'll bring my camera in...
Nice one, thanks.

Tom_Martin said:you've got to be kidding.... how do I achieve this amount of carryover...
I think true carryover figures are hard/impossible to deduce because most people sacrifice strength in one or the other through training for one or the other.

Just another thought to complicate matters. Tongue

Any chance of a video of your proper squats Tom? Solid looking numbers on those!
