Where's Craig?! Surely he's there.

Wrong side of the country. He might have friends there though Happy
» zydrunas press (Go to post)22-03-2014 @ 10:46
Exactly, for most people it won't be much less than a normal strict press in terms of weight.
If doing an assistance exercise is wrong then a lot of what people do should be stopped...
» zydrunas press (Go to post)21-03-2014 @ 17:29
The advantage of a z press is that it really isolates core activation and shoulders and supporting muscles which might get missed by a normal strict press or push press.
Definite bonus as you are only as strong as your weakest muscles and this assistance exercise works them well Happy

A mutual friend has informed me of this guys ability.

430kg dead lift is what is quoted

Benni has pulled more but you wouldn't count him as a top contender for WSM Happy

G1 - Burke, Hollands
G2 - Ostlund, Thor
G3 - Hall, Pritchett
G4 - Savickas, Shahlei
G5 - Shaw, Shivlykov

Nice to see Ostlund back, gonna give him a shout at qualifying. Also hoping Loz is strong enough to make the finals also.

Surely that would be more down to belt placement and core engagement than type of buckle on the belt?

Conans wheel:-chasing Ben Kelsey's distance as I knew he would win this

Mr static is now mr everything and I still see my moving as my weakness so I will be working on these like crazy for next year... And I don't bulls**t, I would never say il do something or claim to have done something if I'd not done it.

Anyway off to Wsm next week so logging off till after then.
Wish us Brits a good one please guys, am sure someone will keep you all updated Wink

Good work Ed, deserved win and good luck at worlds Happy

Some interesting points:
How awesome is that for ben on the conans, Ed knew Ben would beat everyone else in that very high level field. Good work Ben!! Grin

Does anyone actually doubt that Ed will make even more gains with his moving? He is nearing the complete strongman, future winner for sure!
» Used olympic plates (Go to post)17-03-2014 @ 11:30
second hand isnt generally much cheaper.
best option is to look on gumtree or other local based free ads sites. About the only place i've ever found any deals
» Which strongman would you most want to win wsm (Go to post)16-03-2014 @ 10:28
Wont choose a Brit as I want any of them to win.

Outside of that, Poundstone.
