the yorkshires novice is gonna be my first comp so there are a couple of things i was wondering about. 1. what can i wear on my feet? i normally train in jesus sandles and do dead lift bare foot but im guessing thats no good. 2. will my weight have to include my clothes and sandles or can i get necked? 3.how many people can i bring to spectate? how much for them? 4.about how much time between events is there? thats about it for now. any help will be much appreciated thanks

PAGAN said: Define 'stress' ? I feel really anxious when I dont drink so is drinking or not drinking better for me? Hand on heart as a drinker anyone who suggests my addiction is actually good for my health is having a f**king laugh. I actually think the title of this thread is inaccurate . The studies I've seen quote 'moderate' drinking as having health benefits , I've never heard of studies even by Carlsberg or grain producers ( who are behind a lot of bulls**t studies) that try to prove hardend drinkers will outlive those who abstain. i meant drinking chills most people out so when my kids have been at it all day if i have a can or two and it relaxes me it is more good than bad. if you cant go ten minutes without drinking then yeah i would say its more bad for you

in general i would say stress will kill you faster than beer and genes/life style play a part but i would think more than 8 pints a night and most people will suffer
