I think some rest would do you some good mate. A week off now could set you up nicely for your next cycle.

Joni man, dont forget deadlift for reps. I was thinking 250kg in 90 seconds, what does everyone reckon?!!?!Grin Grin

Yeah we can just scale down the weights for the ladies. Shouldnt be too hard to workout.

So, when is this thing going to happen? I think us Sugden boys need quite a while to train for it, well, at least I do!

I actually think more shoulder work will be good for your shoulders. They tend to open the shoulder joint up and help to retract the shoulders. Of course more rear delt work will be good for them too.

How about we pick 4-5 events, and have the same number of competitors from each team, the points will be split so first place takes the same number of points as there are total competitors (so if we have 4 a side first takes 8, last takes 1.) That way it can be both me v Jonathon, Buzz v Joni AND Sugden v Edinburgh.

4-6 events, we pick 2-3, you pick 2-3. That sound fair to everyone??

Oh, and thanks for your help Wednesday mate. Lets see if we can get that focus back in more of our sessions, bench especially. We both need work there.

For the record, I decided to pull big when I found out you were maxing. Knowing that I can be rather overenthusiastic, I realised that I would get as focused as you for your deadlifts, so why not use that to my own advantage, and pull big myself.

The atmosphere on Wednesday was awesome. We both turned up knowing what we wanted to do, and knowing that we were going to do it. Seriously mate, wednesday night was one of those workouts that makes me happy to train with the right people; like minded, determined, stubborn c**ts!

If someone were to ask me why having good training partners is so important, showing them a video of Wednesday's workout would trump anything that I could put on paper.

By the way, a good tip for creatine is to put it in a small glass with some very hot water, pour that into your juice, shake, squash etc and knock it back. The hot water allows the creatine to dissolve completely so you dont get that gritty powder taste in your mouth.

Nice deadlifting mate. As a guide, I could do 230kg when I hit 180kg x 10, and I think im better at singles than reps.

Cheers guys. Today was certainly a good one. Lets see if I can keep this up for a few weeks and hopefully I'll be back to where I should be.
