Erg mode on zwift is nowhere near as responsive as TR. I hope that's because I'm going from Mac to phone to kickr and back again.

Id like to be able to use this full time so I could cancel TR and afford training peaks.

I'm just cooling down from 40 minutes at sweet spot. Bloody hard work!

I had it in my physically Boar but mentally I was spent. I realised I was better saving it than obliterating myself.

Steve - numbers wise this is my best. I'd say I'm about 97-98% off my actual best though. I wasn't using power at the time. Pretty damn close though.

Finally got it working, on my own, after zwift were next to f**king useless. I'm using the Bluetooth on my phone and connecting via mobile link. Not perfect but it's working.

Did 15m at 348W today. It was meant to be a threshold test but I just didn't have it mentally. Been a tough week with some family s**t and I'm pretty drained.

The purpose was to see if the 330W I did the other week was an anomaly. I couldn't do it today but it feel very realistic. Maybe it wasn't an anomaly after all.

That can make a big difference.

You boys have to do stuff that us enlightened folk can ignore Wink

That puts him in the middle of Cat 2 according to Coggans chart.

That's pretty damn good. I hope to be there in 2017. But none of us will be there soon!

It's doable.

This matches my initial impressions. Zwift have got something unique and potentially brilliant. Trainerroad know how to run a customer service led business.

Combine the two and they'd be deadly. But right now, Zwift for me is useless for anything other than doing a trainerraod style workout while looking at some VR.

Raised a support ticket with them. Told them I'd tried everything and sent them my log files. Got the response 'Please try our troubleshooting guide and if that doesn't work send us your log files'.

I'm lost for words.

I haven't had kfc in bloody ages.

Good luck hombre!

Yeah I've seen that a lot, and tried it. No luck.

It's proving quite frustrating. If I was paying for zwift I'd be very annoyed!

I will do.

From what I've read this isn't a kickr issue but a zwift one. I might just delete and reinstall tomorrow and see if that works.

His time is within 12% of mine and I wasn't hanging around.

I don't know what effect not using sim mode has but I'd say his time is pretty decent.

Kickr sill not working with zwift: works fine with everything else.

Hasn't worked since the last update of zwift. I hope those Silicon Valley backers are patient!

Went up Box Hill in whatever mode it's stuck in - 7m14

Steve said:What percentage of ftp would you think you could manage for two hours? I'm guessing in a very well trained athlete it wouldn't be a lot less than ftp.

It's a fair question/point. I'd be surprised if too many would be over 95% of FTP. But I should probably do some research.

95% would put the top end at 3.8kg. While that may not sound like much of a difference, in reality 3.8 vs 4 on the road is huge.

I completely agree, but when everyone else shoots up the road and you spend the vast majority of it on your own then what was the point in doing the race? Could have done exactly the same thing on my own at a time that was more convenient to me.

I only care about the training effect. I couldn't give a rats arse about actually doing well in the 'race'.
