BDFPA 8th December 90 class weighted in at 89.5 after not eating breakfast full powerlifting meet today Gary picked my up at 7.30 and we drove up to Bradford. was a very good comp and much fun, warming up was a bit hard but beyond that banging... learning point however was wrap up warm for pl comps. lifting unequipped squat opener 175 good lift 185 good lift 195 good lift (pb) 15kg lead at this point bench opener 95 good lift 100 good lift (equal pb) 105 close but fail (apparently the line was off slightly forward) still ahead deadlift opener 230 good lift 242.5 good lift (think its an un strapped un hitched pb but wasn't to hard) biggest dead in my class 255 fail (wasn't going to go out for a non-pb line slightly off again, wasn't through heels and out in front a little too much won with at 537.5 total which was a win by some margin at least 30kg I think. much fun was had. very good atmosphere and good lads. thanks Gary for driving | |||

in a side note what do we recon on this for training plan? Monday Low bar squats up to a heavy 3x3 then drop around 10% and do 2sets of 5 reps then Pendlay rows on the same method Wednesday Bench same set up as squats and rows then abs 4 sets of 10 reps with weight Friday deads upto heavy 3x3 then do the same weight for 2 sets of 5 reps but from 18" then strict same method as squats bench and rows recon that will work well?? | |||

squats 60x5 60x5 60x5 90x5 110x5 130x5 belt on then 150x5x5 then sit ups 20kgx12 reps by 3 sets that took 2 hours alone stretch fin need to squat less haha rare to hear someone say that |
