You have to admire his persistency.

By persistency I mean stupidity and admire I mean point and laugh!

Slightly off topic but have you noticed how the fit girls from school are all overweight with 4 kids from 6 different dads and the girls you wouldn't go near seem to have developed rather well??!
Age truly is a funny thing but in essence just a number, just depends what you do on the way to that number!

I think the score Is more by luck than judgement. To date my event training sessions now totals 9 since I started just before Christmas so I really need to be pushed in the gym to compensate as much as I can for my lack of event work. And the gym I use doesn't really have the members who understand what we do, so much so I was asked by some kid in a vest what a deadlift was!

I'm pretty average mate no better, no worse. I was gonna be cheeky and ask if you minded if I were to jump in for a session one of the days as I'm having difficulties training during the week and could do with some advice. Iceman in Stoke and his camp along with the overhead monster that is ursus have been kind enough to make arrangements for me to join them on a sat but it's a bit far to be going during the week. Feel free to tell me to jog on but I figured I'd post this request publically to avoid that response! Grin

» Bicep tendonitis (Go to post)14-06-2011 @ 13:31
try it, its suppringly easy to work around and after 4 weeks i was sorted, had no problems since i just make sure i keep away from straight bar
» Bicep tendonitis (Go to post)14-06-2011 @ 13:17
i had something simelar a while back, aparently the underlying factor is how far you can supinate your hands ( turn them palm up) if you cant turn them all the way and you do alot of straight bar exercises i.e bicep curls, underhand pull downs that sort of thing. it puts excess and unnatural strain on the tondons and can create pockets of fluid.

if you can supinate your hands fully then i have no clue!!
» 362.5kg (800 pound) 18 inch deadlift, raw no straps (Go to post)12-06-2011 @ 21:36
Cheers for that Chris. Very impressive mate, I got some serious work to do in order to have a chance at a half decent lift.

Excuse my ignorance but what sort of bar? And yeah I got pretty long limbs, kinda have go go gadget legs

When you say 18 inch lifts is it from the bottom of the bar or bottom of the plates? Only reason I ask is 18 inch on me is only mid shin level?!

Cheers
