Gary lifted well

Went for 367.5 squat and missed it twice

f**ked up his lock out on 3rd bench at 220 - no idea why as it flew off his chest- he's not sure either

300 dl was equal pb and he went 310 but had nowt left

Happy

My only problem so far with creatine is gyno - am I really at risk of bad kidney's too? Why do they never tell you this stuff before you get hooked?

Shin splints are often connected with over pronating- If you get some good running shoes designed for over pronaters they'll probably help. Asics are (or were when I used to run a lot) my shoe of choice and a lot of them have the duomax support in the instep which helps with the pronation - But most makes have an anti pronation shoe so it's a choice thing and looking aroun dif you want to go that route.

I ended up getting orthotics which were the biz, but for a one off test they're way too expensive imo.

Running on your toes is hard btw - good for sprinting not so good for longer stuff ime unless of course you're a world class distance runner - No idea how those guys do it!

I happened to watch your lifting last night Cris - very impressive - Well done.

Think I might forget the idea of lifting at 90 and go back down to 82.5 after seeing that

JackRevans said:allright no need for arguments. yes i see your point, and i did think that. however, i have a sticking point which is pretty much exactly at the 2 board.
If you're sticking at about 2 board then your weakness is probably in fact slightly below that so maybe a 1 board would be better for you to work the weakness?

just a thought ... But then what do I know Cool Grin

Just been doing a quick look around and Jack3d is for sale everywhere (e.g. Amazon) but they don't seem to mention you should be wary if you are subject to drug testing - very naughty!

Though at the bottom of the USP labs site tehre is a warning. See the P.P.P.S at the bottom of this page:

A real minefield yes! Can't belive how hard it is to identify that that is actually something named in the WADA oprohibited list

BigMacca said:it's banned both in and out of competition as far as I can tell

Not sure that's right ... methylhexaneamine is listed in S6 as a specified stimulant which is in th3 section of "SUBSTANCES AND METHODS PROHIBITED IN-COMPETITION" It's not in the section of "SUBSTANCES AND METHODS PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES(IN- AND OUT-OF-COMPETITION)"

This seems to be the case for most stimulants when I look at the WADA list - i.e ok to use them in training - Not ok to use them in competition.
