Hi Mark, Only recently joined the forum and got interested in trying strongman. Saw you compete in Northern qualifiers at Salt Ayre earlier this year. Excellent Stuff. Vids of your squats and deads are truely inspirational. Hopefully coming down to osg for first time this monday so if youre about i'll introduce myself keep up the insane lifting cheers | |||

Do wrist supports help much? - i may get some How do you find how your hand spacing affects your pressing ie narrowor = more tri, wider = more delt I agree you should lift in thoses stupid slipper sock things (are they your mrs's....?) Awesome lift mate! Do you just train 18" deads now or do you do them off floor still too? I tried them off the pins in power rack at TF other night from knee height and i couldnt shift what i can off the floor! Ps you still 86kg? | |||

Post Edited: 12.11.2010 @ 13:07 PM by Rodger I also havent read the whole thread (because im a bit lazy), but a way to cook chicken breasts in a way thats isnt dry and horrible is as follows.1) Get a george Forman gril 2) Buy some decent chicken breasts (i buy from a local butcher who gives me 20% discount on 3kg and above 3) Turn on the foreman and wait til hot. 4)Cook as complete breasts (not cut up or sliced) on george foreman (sprinkle a little salt on top first) 4) Keep checking if theyre cooked with knife and fork, but not over cooked as to go dry and horrible, just when the pink stage has disappeard all the way through and joices are clear Eat hot or cold (I usually eat them cold next day) and if you get good stuff (supermarket chicken breast are s**t and not even cheap) they'll be delicious. Well done Ken! I agree about Geoff capes and what other people have said. He didnt even know what the conans torture circle was called either. I cant fault alex Reid for not lifting that 400kg yoke as I know i wouldnt have been able to! | |||

Woke this morning and cant grip anything with it. Its obviously elbow tendonitus/tennis elbow as ive had it before. Really pissed off and has made me forget about my other shoulder/back issues to be homest. found some NSAIDS in my bag and must try some cissus and glucosamine as thiese have helped me int he past. think its either down to me trying to master power clean technique with too heavier weight or curling with oly bar instaed of EZ bar, in any way i feel like a right c*nt Certainly no overhead work tonight now | |||

DEcline Bench 6x80 11x60kg Bad session shoulder, bicep, neck, whole thoracic spine in a mess, pissed off went home. EDIT in fact the whole shoulder prob ive had for few years is really bothering me again at moment maybe its just down to changing for slighltly lower reps. I constantly have a tight upper back, feel the neeed to hang off things all the time and shoulder joint sends tingling feeling down my arm a lot |
