Going off completely on a tangent, have you seen the vid on facebook of the chap ringing into school, pretending to be a kid. He has a resemblance of you! Grin

We all know he injured his neck trying to prove to his 18 Lithuanian sorts that he can still mott out all of them to completion with ease. A strained neck from eating too much vadge. His priorities have changed.

I quite like this. Z said he was "veeeerrry happpyyy"

Throughout really.
I'd drop the regular deadlift for the time being, perhaps relegate it to light days.
Work the Stiff Leg version almost exclusively for a good 3 to 6 months. Look at some of my older videos on Insta or Toms for form. You need to drill it into your body that your straighten out by extending your hips and keeping your lower back static.

OK thanks matey.

From what I've seen of your videos, you could do remedial work on hip drive. You really need to drill the ability to drive your hips forward while keeping your lower back rigid.
Just my 2 pennies.

At the start of the lift mate, rather than lockout?

I've just seen a lot of videos of people seemingly doing it recently, even powerlifters which I thought was odd.
I'm really struggling to get in a good position at the moment and hurting my lower back. I have deadlifted in socks for 10 years or more and my Deadlift used to be quite strong but gone to s**t in the last 12-15 months.

I do, do ankle mobility stuff occasionally as I had a bad sprain that bothered me for 6 months and still flares up.

Squatting to depth isn't usually an issue

Cheers

I felt I should go some way to justify to my 4 and a half year old the other day why daddy was inputting things into myfitnesspal on his phone. She asked the question what was I doing?

She said oh is it so you don't eat too much sugar? Happy
I said yes it is that but also so I know ive eaten enough good food to keep me strong when I go to the gym.

Not too exciting just local crossfit place for my squats and deadlifts then next door to their separate weights dungeon for bench etc.. note the vide is over a year old. I wish I was able to lift this sort of load presently lol
