thanks folks, i think i could squat 250-255 when fresh, but i am actually considering ditching squatting for the time being and really hammer my deadlifts with 100% focus.

Please do not ditch squatting. I beg of you. If you squat your deadlift will also grow. If you only deadlift your squats will hang.

Did some DL yesterday. Went in, pulled a couple, went home, had pasta, went to sleep. Really focussed on Saturday.

The 1st clip is 210kg and the 2nd 220kg. Nothing heavy. Just wanted to feel some wiaght in the hands.

Cheers

True. I like using boards in the "off - season." I get used to the weight in my hands and my central nervous systems complains ect. I normally use bands for my DE days. Thursdays, 72 hours after a bench related exercise. I like working the DE up to a 5 week up and a 2 week down cycle.

Not just with BP but also SQ. DL is hard to use bands.

So bru. When is your next squat session?

I agree with Rob. For the next 6 months you'll see basically weekly growth. After that it gets harder. Never give up.

Here are some videos from the session thanks to Joni and Martin:

Good squats. 1st clip was bit high. 2nd one much better. There is much more power in you. Never underestimate your abilities.

nice work mate! Is that gym just your local virgin active or some similar normal gym?

No. Not a Virgin Active. They don't allow Powerlifters. To noisy and "dusty" maybe. This is actually the local High School Gym. It's run independantly by a friend. Rather cheap as well. We pay R100.00 per month. Around £7.00. I'm basically the only Powerlifter in this province. There were a couple guys trying for it, but alas - they can't take the pressure. Those bas***ds spotting me (Moms on the left and Martin on the right) did 1 squat session with me. Didn't walk for a week and decided that all the christmas tree work outs are for them. (biceps and calves)

Thanks all for the support.
Cheers
