Just searched and found out that bumper plates are solid rubber. Haha! Well I feel a right nugget.

Sorry, didn't realise there was a difference. Is the rubber thicker on bumpers? (probably a really daft question)

» Which power rack? (Go to post) | 19-10-2010 @ 15:01
The bodymax one is rated to 363kg and the powertec to about 450kg and I can't see myself ever testing the upper limits of either to be honest so I'm leaning more towards the bodymax due to price. I will be keeping it in my back yard, what would be the best way to weatherproof it other than covering it over?
» Which power rack? (Go to post) | 19-10-2010 @ 12:58
I'm looking at getting a power rack early next year and spending £300-£400 Are there any you would recommend for that price range? I've been looking at the Bodymax CF475 and the Powertec Workbench Power Rack but can't decide between them and a kick in the right direction would be great! http://www.powerhouse-fitness.co.uk/bodymax-cf475-heavy-power-... http://www.fitness-superstore.co.uk/power_cages/powertec_workb... Which do you guys think is the better one, regardless of their cost?
