yeah, am quite please with my bench, but as you can see, my squat is pretty s**te!!

It has been neglected over the years, but hopefully with some focus, the weight will climb quite rapidly. Heere's hoping anyway!!!

Big bad bench last night. Felt pretty fatigues from day before, but have bit of time restriction this week. Also feel a bit gash due to cold/chesty cought that wont shift - bas***d!!

Anyhow, training was:-

Bench Press - 135KG 6x2 - this was pretty easy, am really looking forward to 6x5 and 6x6 in weeks to come

Strict OHP - 70lb Bells 4x5

DB Curls - 6x6 50lb - should have give a miss after bi's yesterady, but was only one off

Abdominals:-

Plank x 60sec & 45 sec

Crunches & Weighted Rope Pull Downs

Was also meant be doing Box squats but back was still sore and felt pretty s**tty.

Was bit frustrated bout squats, but ok workout all in all

I feel compelled to write and express my total disgust at this thread. I find it deeply offensive and degrading to women.
Ok, now thats cleared the air I'm off to dock my boat in the secret harbour, I'll park my car in the underground garage and I'll leave my sausage in the Tuna Tunnel for safe keeping.

In Glasgow oral sex on a girl is called "growling at the badger".
And we all know you should never approach a wounded badger cos it will bite you, so if your gonna go near one make sure its totally dead.

PMSL, brilliant post!!

masters football is not 11 a-side though, so is not footaball in the true sense of the professional sport

BB yeah, but they still al compete together for the "open" title - is this the case with PL, I dont know, as not that knowledeable on the subject?

obviously from what you have said ther are a few, but not a great deal comparable to the amount of sports available in this country

I also don't like the way people can win a title in a weight class heavier than someone below them even if that person had a higher total - it doesn't make any sense. Hell, it happened to me at the last NW unequipped when I 'won' the U23 110s with a lower total than David in the U23 100s!! It even happened at the IPF Worlds where the 110s winner out-totalled the 125s winner by over 25 kilos!

I doubt it would ever be possible, but if Wilks could calculate age and weight all into one - and placings were just based off that, would this lead to greater chances of head to head battles to win titles?

Sorry for going off on a bit of a tangent, just some random ramblings!

I have never understood the age thing.

In no other sport I can think of are competitors categorised by age? I cant understand why all competitors cant compete together?

You only have to look on here to see that the older memebers are equally as good, if not better than those younger

Where were you pulling from in the racks? Quite a few people can be weaker out of the racks at certain positions so I wouldn't worry about it - I know anything shin area for me is harder than off the floor because I lose all my leg speed.

hi rob, was roughly just below the knee so I may suffer in a similar way too you

only teething probs I hope anyway

want my DL to be at least 220 by March!!

was extremley motivated for training last night. Had my lovely knew pro-fit second skin on and was focussed on having a cracking session. Training been a bit sporadic due to work, but was as follows:-

T-Bar Rows- 60KG 6x6 - easy warm up
Shrugs 130KG 4x6 - again quuite easy leading into deads

DL - 160KG 6x2 - weight felt fine although will be struggle doing 6x6 in 4 weeks time me thinks

Rack Pulls 3x3 180KG - found these quite hard. Was the 1st time I have done these and found my positioning quite awkward at first. Hopefully will get better with practice

Concentration Curls - 4x6 30KG

Some rear delt work to finish. Was a good workout really, just bit concerned about how difficult I found the rack pulls. Hey-ho, 180KG rack pulls will be like a peanut in 3 months time Happy
