ZERO motivation to train, so downed a preworkout and set up the squat rack

Sleeves and oly shoes on

There's some nice DOMS in my quads and glutes. Hand still isn't ready for heavy deadlifts so I will probably just do 10 sets total for lats - maybe 5 sets of lat pulldowns and 5 sets of rows, plus hamstrings/hypers.

I don't understand chicken breasts. I used to just buy 3 chickens for 10, then cut them into pieces. If you calculate the costs, you pay for the breasts and get the rest for free. Kinda like some girls.

Edit: In Cyprus the cost of things are a little out - chicken is about 25 lira for one, and people earn about 100 a day. I often get a pack of lentils or chickpeas for 5-10 lira and boil them up once I've fried onions and added salt, pepper, cumin, curry powder etc. Half a bag will give me about 100g protein and 250+ carbs, plus lots of fibre.

Thanks, just lack of motivation this past week. Also, broke as f**k and needing to teach kids, plus getting a new PT client on-board next week hopefully. Air-con is a must when it's 45 degrees during the long summer over here.

Bench - plan was 100kg for 10 sets of 10, whilst realistically getting 5 or 6 sets.

60kg x 10
80kg x 10
100kg x 10 - felt like there was about 15 in the tank
100kg x 10 - felt like there was about 12 in the tank
100kg x 10 - felt like there was about 9 in the tank, just about locked out.

Lat pulldowns
80kg x 10
100kg x 5 or 6, then bicep twinge

Seated shoulder press, no back support
60kg x 8, then some woman came over whilst I was dying trying to sell me a newspaper to raise money for some spastic kid. I told her I was a spastic kid who could do with about 6 grand for aircon and national insurance/pension backpayments.

Deadlifts yesterday. Decided to go with the fast descent and rip it straight up instead of setting up and taking the slack out of the bar. If you've seen Chris Jenkins deadlift, you'll know the style. But with added hook grip.

215kg x 1 belted

Haven't pulled 215 since I left the UK, so pleased with this. Only issue is grip was going at the top.

I LOVED going to big red on Holloway road! First time i went was with a vegetarian girl. Halfway through one of their monstrous steaks, I found out my date was a vegetarian. Steak was awesome!
