Find a spouse from the gym - problem sorted. Mine is pretty supportive, food, diet, training, competitions, all the other stuff that comes with powerlifting. She's not a lifter at all, just one of those who trains to keep fit and make sure she can eat what she likes without gaining weight.

Can you put me down for the Novice u105 please? Yaman Mustafa. How do we sort out payment, do we just pay on the day?
» Help with squats (Go to post)09-09-2011 @ 15:26
I'd definitely go wider as it will allow you to push your knees out more. I'd also add some front squats as it will force you to keep your chest and head up, the rest should follow through. You might be hamstring dominant which is why you're leaning forwards to get more hams involved, front squats will also fix this. I'm not a massive fan of box squats but they should also help to teach/force you to sit back with your head and chest up.

Old video but the technique is still fairly similar.

All lift were done in competition weighing 86.5kg I think after stuffing myself in the morning. I've squatted more in the gym but I'm not counting it.

I'm about 87ish in the mornings. I'll still be under 90kg.

Didn't change that bit - they were both equipped in competition. I'm gunning for 250kg squat in belt and wraps soon.

I'm not doing the GPC Worlds due to being too fat/weak and/or a combination of the two.

Alan Collins holds his Hi-Rep Bash in Nov/Dec in Folkestone, Kent most years. No entry fee, not sanctioned. Monolift, double ply and BPC/GPC refs.
I'll probably be lifting this year.

The "Casual Encounters" section has been gone for years now, didn't know they had a replacement bit.
