I don't go by dates - I treat them as guidelines only. If something is off, I salvage what I can, or throw it out if not. If it's fine to eat/useable, then I use it.

Kudu burgers (2 1/4lb patties) with homemade potato wedges, mayo and fruit juice. Tastes like the bbq ribs I'd get as a kid at school.

Yeah, at least that's a lockout I managed yesterday.

He had some people come over to view the property. If the chubb wasn't locked when he got there, then he shouldn't have locked it when he left. We managed to stay with a neighbour and have tea but I was crashing and almost fell asleep on the floor. Got into the flat at 10pm last night.

Sugden star? Don't quite think so! Squat wasn't as bad as you thought, I reckon there's 5-10kg more in the tank, but then again you seemed to think I had 10kg in the tank for deads. Very good depth too, technique was good even with heavier weights. Deadlift flew up - maybe a PB come comp day?

How much weight were you using on the leg curl? Your raw deadlift is 20-30kg more than mine!

Briefs and suit on, straps down
60kg x 3
100kg x 3
140kg x 3
180kg x 1 belted
200kg x 1 belted
220kg x 1 belted with straps up
230kg x 0 belted with straps up < Told Phil to put 5kg on, but his response was "nah, 10kg more". Got it to knees, I knew my chest wasn't up.

Rack pulls
60kg x 3
100kg x 3
140kg x 3
180kg x 1 with 10sec hold
220kg x 1 with 10sec hold
240kg x 1 with 10sec hold
260kg x 1 with 10sec hold
280kg x 1 with 10sec hold - only just lifted it, but grip was solid

Couple of sets of trying to do dumbbell push press with dumbbells that were loose = couple of minutes then gave up. Cleaned the 55 no problem, but wouldn't sit on my shoulders.

Hamstring curls, hypers 2x10 of each

Nice session, good to train somewhere else and with a decent bar.

Locked out of flat due to stupid landlord x 2 hours.

I did try an Inzer max DL, hated it. Felt too thin. I'd go with metal's wide stance squat suits, or the inzer t-rex (adjustable straps too). T-rex is multiply, the squat suit I have is two plies laminated together (so not ipf legal)

Nope. Only reason I was going to enter is because it was easy to get to.

I should be concentrating on this novice/first timers comp (where 140kg+ people with 300kg+ deadlifts are trying to enter)

Just looking at having a day fun day out for this comp, but I know i'll end up getting competitive on the day.

I have the same shirt (rage-x, battered to death). It gave me 40-50kg last year and has outperformed every other shirt i've tried. I do have a katana but i'm waiting to get strong again before I mess about with it.

Quality benching. When's your next comp?

Another mediocre squat session due to back playing up

Squats
55kg x 10
75kg x 5
95kg x 5
115kg x 5
130kg x 6 - more in the tank but left it there

Front squats
55kg x 3
75kg x 3
95kg x 3
115kg x 2
132.5kg x 0 - unracked, didn't like it then racked again.

Leg ext
Few sets of 10, including a drop set of 5 sets

Lots of stretching for hamstrings, glutes etc.
