Good going. Is that a 1RM PB that you doubled?

As has already been said, the squats looked comfortable. The deads looked like there's definitely more in the tank too.

For some reason, this reminded me of JamieG's video.

Can't beat a bit of Sammy Davis Jr.

Who said it was beef? Skippy for dinner.
» what did you have for tea? (Go to post)01-02-2013 @ 00:14
Chorizo buritto with salad and rice, followed by a sharing platter of nachos with beef, refried beans, guacamole etc. On my own. Then a litre of water when I got home. Not able to get out of bed now due to the pain i'm in.

Zebra quarter pounder x 2 with bread and salad (finished off all the potatoes in the house yesterday) at 5pm.

8pm - chicken boiled in water along with ginger, coriander and stock, with rice. Mixed it all up in a big tupperware and had it like a soup. Followed by grapes and hula hoops.

A friend of mine whose name i'd rather not drop into drugs stuff. There aren't too many top bulgarian weightlifters that have recently come back from a ban.

Muzzy Izzet.
Osman I.

That's pretty much exhausted my knowledge of all things turkish.

Doner kebab, shish kebab, baklava?

Who's Osman I?

Edit - I know a top class Bulgarian (Turkish decent) weightlifter. Recently got back from a 2 year ban for testing positive.

Definitely more in the tank. I can see him hitting 1000kg in the near future.
» learning to squat in a suit (Go to post)30-01-2013 @ 15:09
Seeing as you guys both have a 200kg raw max, I would say put the suit on and go Bar, 60, 100, 140 for sets of 3, trying to feel your depth on the way down then explode up. No belt, straps down. Belt on, 160x2, 180x2 etc. I wouldn't necessarily go full on strapped and wrapped in the first session. Depending on the tightness of your suit and sticking points, I would hazard a guess at a 250kg ish squat. As Faz said, work on technique with knees, chest up and try to feel how the suit works to get the most out of it.

Spend a lot of time learning dolphin.

I met a girl who could speak dolphin once - we just "clicked"

My spare time is spent watching women on the internet, interested in nature/bushcraft, shooting (air rifle and target) cooking and learning random stuff such as foreign languages/watching QI.
