» Wheat intolerance (Go to post)17-10-2010 @ 20:49
Hey, is there anybody else on here who is wheat intolerant?

had to stop eating wheat over the last few weeks. i feel much better but have lost 3 pounds already which i would rather keep on. this is mainly down to cutting out pasties, pies, bread, pasta and biscuits.

i think its mainly fat that ive lost but dont want to lose much more. i was wondering if anybody can think of some caloriffic meals that don't include chips!
» glucosamine sulphate (Go to post)17-10-2010 @ 20:34
myprotein.com do it cheap, i take it now and again, dont know if it helps but I've heard its suppose to be the most effective legal joint aid.
» Alcohol (Go to post)17-10-2010 @ 20:30
i drink because i enjoy it. as far as NHS costs go i would imagine that taxes on alcohol pays for alcohol related illnesses by about 500%. most people drink but most people don't die from drinking. about 50% of the cost of alcohol is tax.

Being fat is a much bigger problem in this country.

trained at powerhouse gym in Rhyl with sion.
First time having a go at anything other than everyday weightlifting equipment.

did some axle clean and jerks/presses/push presses. dont know the weight of it, started with a wheel and a 20kg each side and worked up from there. did about 6 sets.

Did some sandbag loading, got a 65kg bag up on a high platform a few times and a 75kg bag onto a medium platform once.

finished by doing a few squats bar x 12, 70kg x 15. nowt special.

was good to have a play with some strongman gear, unfortunatly the log is pretty heavy there, felt like over 80kg (unloaded) so didnt have much chance gettin that up on my first go.
