shirts not tight enough then, you should have to fight the shirt and pull the bar down

I wouldnt go straight into a double ply shirt, shirted bench is a lot different to raw bench and is a difficult skill to master. You can just throw a multiply shirt on and bench 100kg more despite what some RAW!!! zelots might have you believe.

Angled sleeve = arched back
Straight sleeve = flat back

imo anyone that was truely so anti drug would lift in a tested fed where drugs are against the rules

To be fair I don't think it was too heavy

The issue was depth, when it came up it looked fairly easy

I'm sure Joe's realised his mistakes and will now train consistently to depth rather then training high, and come back a much better lifter

Some weeks i can nail 220kg no problems, other weeks it just wont come up past my shins
