» Snoring/Sleep Apnoea (Go to post)24-02-2015 @ 20:01
My wife suffers with her breathing at night and uses Otrivine nasal spray before bed. I've started snoring quite bad recently so gave her spray a try. It made a big difference and really opened up my airways. It's worth a try.

Sorry enough to give him five pounds in cash

Probably not. I already gave him the gift of laughter but he chose not to use it wisely so who's to say what damage he could do to himself with five pounds.

Sorry.

Get a bike mate. It's life changing. Embrace the spoked wheel.
Made up for Eddie and the way it's worked out for him. He's done his time officiating and proven he knows his s**t both with his own lifting and his lifters. Was worries about him for a time but he seems to be doing really well.
I'd call bulls**t on the 165 @ lightweight, especially at schoolboy. Only Dean from up north was doing those weights and that was at senior. Andy Sutor was getting very close to them, but he's from Bristol and again was senior. The schoolboy records were held by Eddie Wing from Wales but I don't think were higher than 140's @67.5. This was early to mid 80's so I was around then. Never trust a cabbie
Wink

Dale Wright? I know he did around 150kg as an U18.

Next time I'll come and say hello.

Was that the one at Sawyers place?

Not sure. It was some kind of posh function place rather than gym related. In a fairly small village not too far south.

I will do. I still see him about once a year. You may be good with faces but it was nearly 30 years ago so I may have changed a bit.

I'd post an old picture but I have no idea how to. I was at the British seniors a couple of years ago with Dean and I think you were there.

Ha ha ha. Nice one. This really did make me lol. Dennis was hairy when he was pre teen. Top bloke and a top lifter. Give him my best when you see him next. And my best to you also. I'm sure I'd remember you if we met. I'm better with faces than usernames Wink

Did we ever lift together Mr Caster? I used to do a bit of training with a decent lifter from over there. He was really hairy.
Think Graham was very light (60k?) and Martin was 82.5. The joke was that on the YNE team weightwise Willey was between the 2 Balls Confused

We met quite a few times Andy. I used to train and travel around to comps with Dennis Worthington, who I suspect is the hairy lifter to whom you refer.

You didn't know of anyone from hull who competed when you did dya? Talking to a taxi driver last week - 69k with a 165c&j at like a schoolboy age! Sounded legit but I forgot to ask his name lol! I'm not too sure on yours or his "era" though he mentioned he was around when dean Wiley was. Long shot really Roll-Eyes Grin

I was around back then and I don't recall anyone, from around the Yorkshire and surrounding area, doing those kind of weights apart from Dean. There were two brothers Graham and Martin Ball who were decent (Eddie should remember them) but I don't think they were that good.

There was an episode on Filthy Rich and Catflap (which came between Young Ones and Bottom but similar)where they killed the milkman.
