DAY 3 OF HEAVY WEEK

Had a good session today, thank god for squat rack and moose when i attempted second rep on 180kg ha ha, only thing safetys are too short by 6 inch to just sit down, was fun though!!

Squat 90x3/110x3/130x3/150x3/170x3/180x1/140x2

leg Curl 75x8/85x8/95x8

DB Stiff legged Deadlift 36x6/40x6/42x6

BB Lunge just tried getting technique on these, still need some work

Hanging Knee Raises 12/13/16


Time for a rest day i think, but again everything still going forward so cant complainTongue

Have a look on strengthshop they have some stuff on there which is suppose to be a substitute for chalk, i've been looking at getting some, cause my gym is same, not too happy if i turned up with chalkTongue

Todays Session

Deadlift 70x4/90x3/110x3/130x3/150x3/170x2/175 FAIL

Lat Pulldown 68x6/75x5/68x6

Power Curl straight bar 25x5/30x5/40x5/40x5/40x3+2

Rack DB Rows 40x6/42x6/44x6

Kneeled Cable crunch 28x12/35x12/38.5x12
Superset
DB Shrugs 48x6/48x6/48x6

Not too happy on deadlift, my grip was shocking, couldn't get bar off ground!!!! was tempted to go get straps

Enjoyed session, had a bit of a rush on though after deadlifts cause was a little short for time, but still moving forward so thats a plus point

Start of heavy WEEK 2 DAY 1

Bench 80x3/90x3/100x3/110x3/115=FAIL/110x3

Fly 18x6/20x5/22x3

Clean then Strict Press for reps 30x4/40x3/50x3/60x3/70x3/80=FAIL/75x1+2

Tricep Dip (assisted)19x6/12x8 (unnassited)6/8/6

DB Side Bend 32x12/32x12/32x12

Not happy with benchUnhappy got the 110 easy, but the 115 just wouldn't budge, think i'm going to do DB bench on light weeks to strengthen staibalisers

The +2 on shouders was a little push press, and my first ever mini jerk!!!

Apart from that had a decent workout, going to aim for a full set of unnassisted dips on machine, also another PB on shoulders.

Any tips on benching would be gratefully appreciated as 2 weeks ago i failed after 110kg.

pretty much what i did at corus, drank tea, and occasionally drive crane or check check numbers on billets. good times!!

Had mock style 3xevent session today, got beat 2-1 by moose ;-( I'll get him next week!!

Squat for single, 110,140,160,170 PB! this was the only one i won

Rope pull 68kg 23 pulls in 75 secs

Crucifix hold 5kg for 44secs

Then just to finish legs for the week we did 3 sets of 10 barbell lunges each leg.

Now i know these weights are pitifull for most of the guys on here, but gotta start some where, and got to improvise as i have a lack of equipment for event trainig.

Thats all the training for this week!! Its back to heavy lifting, and i can't wait!!
