Cheers bro. Yeah, the 6 was easy. Had the guy who wraps for quarter squats staring at me throughout. Well, till I went to 200. LOL Think if I'd maxed tonight I could have managed about 220 - not bad all things considered Happy

6@160 raw, 2@180 belted - both sumo
1@200, 1@210 conventional

12@70, 3x8@90

8@24, 8@28, 8@34 (PB), 5@36 (PB)

After that I went for a short swim - bout a quarter mile - just to ease off and save stretching out as gym was mobbed tonight for some reason - must be time for the beach body challenges to start...

Cheers bud. Things have been a bit hectic of late and I still won't make Thursdays or Saturdays due to courses, but I'll be keeping the Tuesday sessions regular. Need to get you doing the 30 reppers... lol

Nope, I meant that that's what your youtube videos would have been having as their backing track had you been in...

Tom is defo the proof that hair works. The cardio is much much easier when you're so drunk you don't remember it haha. Might do it more often.

I'm just out of bed and have been ill as f**k since last night. I really feel like I've been beat the s**t out of. Missing training sessions is not what I need right now. I hope I can make Thursday but can't decide whether I should squat or dead.

SKWATZ FOR THE WIN!!!! Was quiet tonight mate - no spotters till Stevie and Ross came in. Still, was back where I usually am tonight and didn't need them till I put the belt on anyway. Heal up quick!!!!

10@150, 5x3@170 all raw, 1@190 belted then 30@100 raw. Nice squat session tonight. Had spotters for the 190 and then the 100 (only because I said if I collapse just ignore me I think) lol. Am quite pleased with the 30 rep set as it's only 2.5k off my previous pb, and since that's week 1...looking good I think.

6x6@112.5 - all relatively easy. Missed my line a couple of times but no problem to fix it. The shoulder work is definitely paying off - able to lift off 100k solo now in an arched position Happy

No videos tonight. My left quad is starting to feel it a bit now. Hot bath me thinks. Saying that, food might be a priority...

The belt definitely makes a difference as you brace your abs against it, helping to stabilise the interabdominal pressure, making the core area more effective and efficient for lifting.
I can recommend getting the max thickness belt from the American Belt Company (you can order them through Titan) as it's made a difference to my squatting in terms of giving me the confidence to attempt things I wouldn't do raw or even with my old thinner belt.
