Second session back yesterday felt better than Tuesdays session but abit rusty with certain parts of the lifts hopefully next few weeks will get back to feeling abit better Power cleans + 1 jerk 50 x 3 + 1 60 x 3 + 1 70 x 2 + 1 80 x 2 + 1 90 x 3 + 1, x 3 + 1, x 3 + 1 Full clean 90 x 1, x 1 95 x 1 100 x 1 felt the easiest of the lot Push press 60 x 5 70 x 5 80 x 5 Front squat 110 x 3, x 3, x 3 Done | |||

Thanks for the vid will 7/5 First session back didn't really want to do it as I knew it would be crap but talked myself into it in the end. Just a light one and get used to positions in lifts Stretching Snatch balance 40 x 3, x 3, x 3 Power snatch x 2, snatch x 1 40 x 2 x 1 40 x 2 x 1 40 x 2 x 1 40 x 2 x 1 Back squat 100 x 2 120 x 3, x 3, x 3 Lazy on the squats today but will put up next week. Snatching was hard as havnt done in a while and legs are quite tight so I'm aiming to start stretching at home and hopefully keep it a regular thing | |||

This comp has given me abit more of a boost and the strongman bug again so hopefully will help my training progress. Now just need to try and mix in the strongman bits with the oly lifting stuff. | |||

First chance i have had to post on here. It was a great day and well run so thanks to dave and his team for that. Well done to matt and ed for their pbs on the deadlift and i still cant believe ed passed out doing the stones!! lol A great bunch of guys competing and organizing. Well done to everyone competing and to the top 5. | |||

Competed in the midlands qualifier on sunday. Got to compete with matt and ed which was great. And a well done to them for the great pbs on the deadlift. My day went fairly well i think so i am happy with that other than not being able to slow down with the sandbag at the turn around point so i ended up running about 5 metres too far!!! The comp was well run and Dave and his team had a great set up so everything ran smoothly. A big well done to the top 5 going to Englands and to eric for his 305kg deadlift for the record. 22/4 Worst last session ever! Felt very confident about the overhead from last week then I had today's session and now I'm not so sure. Axle over head 60 x a few 80 x a few 90 x 1+1 105 x f x 5 or 6 95 x f 90 x 1 Absolutely rubbish. Calves are pretty tender when I go to clean and press also since doing the medley on Friday so hopefully that's it and will be all ok by Sunday if not it could potentially be a no rep which I didn't think would happen on this event. We will see | |||

19/4 Yolk and farmers medley practice today Yolk 245 - farmers 110 Run 1 - 40.3 rubbish was rushing myself before I even started so when I picked yolk up dropped it a few metres later which cost me time feet felt quick on a positive note though. Had to stop with the farmers as callouses started to tear so will rub them down and wait till the day Did 2 more runs with the yolk first one felt awesome and really managed to get speed on it but guy doing stop watch for some reason didn't start it so have no idea how I did and the next run I did in 18 secs with a drop again! Which was at the start. Hopefully on the day I can stop myself from rushing at the start and may get a decent time (for me anyway). Axle on monday then rest till the comp | |||
