Cheers john, think i could maybe get a few more out on a better day, energy levels are low in mornings and just had that work done on ma shoulder yesterday.

Saturday, bit of bench and event training
  • bench, warm up 25k bar
  • 65k x 15, repboards and paused reps after this
  • 105 x 5
  • 145 x 5
  • 185 x 3
  • 200 x 2 (second one abit shabby, dont seem to have alot of energy on sat mornings)
  • Bit of Light farmers and tyre flips
  • sum reverse sled pulls with about 250k 20mtrs and 20mtrs back (practicing for Rotherhams strongest man)
  • Havent been posting much, had abit of a dodgy shoulder, seen physio yesterday and seems abit better, did sum work on my back aswel.

Keep meanin to try John, but always abit nakered after squats, ill def try next week, ill bench first.

Monday, Legs, bench
  • Squats, warm up 25k bar
  • 65k x 15
  • 105 x 8
  • 145 x 5
  • 185 x 5
  • 220 x 3
  • 105 x 20 (back was killing after squats, tried foam roller but dint do much)
  • Leg Press, higher reps this week
  • 2 sets of 15s
  • 1 set of 20 (dunno what weights but got em burning)
  • Hamstring Curls
  • 2 sets of 15s
  • 1 set of 20 (burning)
  • Bench press, warm up with bar
  • 60 x 12 (repboards and paused reps after this
  • 100 x 5
  • 120 x 5
  • 140 x 5
  • 180 x 5
  • 140 x 10
  • Fininshed with stetching on the pec dec with light weight, do this at start aswel to help get into the bar to squat.

Yeh better get practicing tyres for that medley at north lincs Ross, that last tyre thats around 500k is a heavy f@ker and thats after 4 others, i dont like doin loads of reps, heavier for less reps and ill kick your arse Grin

Sunday, Bit of Tyre Flipping
  • Warmed biceps up abit with a few light curls
  • 250 tyre x 4
  • 250tyre x 2, 350 x 2
  • 250tyre x 4, 350 x 4
  • 350 x 4
  • 350 x 6
  • 350 x 8
  • had a few reps with light stones with no tacky, cud feel my arm pulling abit so stopped there, think ill have a proper stone session tuesday and get taped and tackied up.

Cheers john.Wednesday, Deadlift, upper back.
  • back stiff as f*k, so wasnt really up for today, thought id try sum 15inch deadlifts coz thinking about doin the Rotherham strongest man and its got a max 15inch dead.. anyway made it up to a 14inch deadlift, just wanted to see what it felt like.
  • 70 x 10
  • 120 x 3
  • 170 x 2
  • 210 x 2
  • 250 x 1
  • 300 x 1, all felt ok back was stiff so didnt go heavier, think i should be good for 340ish maybe at 15inch on the day if i do it, on an axle tho and not sure how thatll be.
  • Upper Back, seated rows
  • 3 sets of sumin, not sure, nowt too heavy
  • latpulldowns, just to stretch
  • 3 light sets
  • Finished with sum cable Bicep curls just to pump up abit
  • 3 fairly light sets of 15s.
  • Crap sesh, backs just stiff all the time last few days, will have 2mora off, see how i feel friday, mite have that off aswel and have a good event session saturday.

Tuesday, bit of random Log
  • Warm up with 65k log x10, all one motions after warm up
  • 105 x 3
  • 125 x 1
  • 140 x 1, lost balance abit, but still managed to press it.
  • Dint really feel up for it today after yesterdays session, but just wanted to try abit with my m8s comp spec log, so quite happy with it and i think theres more in there on a good day if i can keep my balance.

Monday. Legs, Bench
  • Squats, warm up with bar
  • 60 x 10
  • 100 x 8
  • 140 x 5
  • 180 x 5
  • 200 x 5 (heaviest iv been for a while because of knee pains, but no pain 2day and 200 for 5 was comftable so can hopefully start bumpin the weights up abit now.
  • Leg Press.
  • 150ish x 15
  • 280ish x 10
  • 420ish x 10
  • 680ish x 8( thought id finish with a good heavy set as knees are pain free and feeling stronger)
  • Hamstring Curls.
  • 15 x 12plates
  • 15 x 14plates
  • 12 x 16plates
  • Bench Press(had to wait about half an hour for aload of divs to finish doin 100sets on the bench, so lost abit of motivation by now)warm up with 25k bar.
  • 65 x 10(after this did all sets paused reps with repboards.
  • 105 x 8
  • 145 x 5
  • 165, just thought id rep out what i cud with this to finish coz was fairly nakered now and managed 8 decent reps.
  • Good session and just glad no knee pains for the first time in ages.

Cheers John, wasnt really feeling it yesterday, but gonna have another good go at 140 log, one motion next week, coz i think it is there, then after that maybe try bringin my legs back into it abit, never really used alot of legs anyway so mite not make much difference now.

Friday, Shoulders and Tris
  • nearly dint train today, felt nakered, training been abit all over this week.
  • Log, all one motions again after warm up 40k x 10
  • 60 x 5
  • 80 x 3
  • 100 x 3
  • 120 x 1
  • 140 x 1 F, but felt like it was there so had another go.
  • 140 x 1 F, just nearly locked out but the momentum knocked me off balance before lock out so give up this time (next week)
  • 100 x 5, fairly tired so went straight to shrugs, wud usually do another press.
  • Farmers Shrugs warm up 60s x 12
  • 100s x 10
  • Last set did a hold 130s for 32secs
  • Triceps, Skullcrushers and close grip press with e z bar
  • 30 x 12
  • 40 x 10 then 10 press"s
  • 60 x 10 then 10 press"s
  • Fairly crap sesh, abit nakered today and my ears keep popping lately when doin any fairly heavy lifts, strange, pressure i guess.

i know how u feel, i always seem to have sum little injury or sumin niggling away and knocking me back. Frustrating, just part of it all tho i suppose.

cheers lad, been struggling with deadlifts and squats for a while due to joint pains and crap, but finally starting to feel stronger. see how squats feel monday.
