» Powerlifting Gyms in Southern England? (Go to post)11-06-2011 @ 17:52
samsons is probably your best bet, they also have a powerlifting club and there are some very, very strong guys there!

that being said ive seen people regularly squatting 4 plates +, and deadlifting 5 plates + at area 51

Hi all, new to this site, been lurking for a while but finally joined!

I've been weight training for a couple of years, but only for my own personal development and other sports etc. however i have always wanted to apply myself to olympic lifting as the technical side of it really appeals to me. but i cant find much info on the net with regards to clubs etc. ive looked on the bwla website but havent had much luck.

Does anyone know of any clubs in the south? (the closer to southampton/portsmouth the better)
