cheers joni + luke got a deadlift pb at the weekend also.. 260.. also figured out how to jerk a log and got 122.. pre-injury pb being 100.. (shows what technique can do.) nice work on the stricts joni... i'm at about 100 for 1 at the mo... previous pb being 107.5... i reckon i can beat it in about 6 weeks... how far are you off joni... gonna beat me to it? :-) | |||

Hey Andy... was thinking need to put an wee update on here... thanks for asking... last month or so: weights almost back to where they were... deadlift pb looks set to fall... have set a deadli of 1st march to pull 260... 250 last week felt good.... so its looking good... and over head pressing numbers looking good too.. although strict press is a bit further off pb now feel i'm completely over the injury... i'm hardly bothering with any kind of bench work... more overhead instead... awesome session yesterday... 18" deads ( plateaued sp? on these recently) but been determined to keep grinding big weights up 60x5 100x5 140x3 170x3 200x2 220x2 240x1 260x1 270x1 felt good 280x1 pb! also felt quite good... 4 inch defecit deads 100x4 140x4 170x3 200x3 210x3 220x f would have gone up but form was s**t and back felt a bit funny power cleans 60x5 80x4 90x2 100x2 110x2 115x1 120x1 125x1 130x1 pb... felt like had a bit more... 140 would be nice.. today massive OH session in about 1 hour... | |||

last weeks training farmers 70x20 90 x20 110x20 x 2 skinny log floor to overhead 50x5 70x5 80x5 easy... will crank this up next week overhead press. strict: felt weak that day managed to get up to 87.5 for a tough one.. squats atg narrow stance 60x5 80x5 100x3 120x2 130x1 140x1 150x1 160x1 170x1 176x1 pb! ( at this style of squat) i'm purposely choosing the most difficult squat for my body shape.. tall-ish skinny legs... no belt or wraps either.. for me i'm pretty happy with that front squats 60x5 90x3 110x2 120x2 130x2 140x1 yesterday 18" deads 60x5 100x5 140x5 170x2 190x2 210x2 220x2 230x1 240x1 250x1 260x1 270x1 pb snatch grip deads on 4 " block 130x5 150x5 160x5 180x5 190x5 195x5 |
