But if you are a lone soldier that is still trying to find your foot in this game, then forget it, you will be stuck in a rut forever.

disagree with this entirely. it depends on your attitude. ive always trained alone and probably always will. If you need someone else to motivate you into making progress youre probably in the wrong game IMO.

Page 3Cool ....and I am still not sure if the added weight is entirely fluids.
In those periods that you rest from it ...I have done so for 5/6 weeks once... I sure as hell didnt loose all the extra I put on!

I agree with this I generally put on around 1.5kg during loading but I definately dont loose that much (not immediately anyway) when I take a break from it.

agree with joni. whats the point when its harder to get the bar to touch your chest than to actually press it out! powerlifting should be man vs. weight not man + super suit + knee wraps + monolift + dodgy reffing decisions vs. weight!

mate youll nail 110 easy if not more!
» Will's Strongman Log (Go to post)04-02-2008 @ 19:13
to be fair I would guess your max to be 110kg+ by now jonny. In my run up to 120 I did 90kg 4x6, 95kg 5x5, 105kg 6x3, 115kg 2x2, 120kg x 1. Im basing my run up to 125 on that +5kg (with adjustments according to how each session goes). Im going for 100kg 5x5 next week and ill be able to tell then how good my chances are. Im pretty optimistic though! Grin

nice work hayden! log clean looked much improved. If you get the cleans nailed itll leave you with alot more power for the press. impressive start to your strongman career!
