Solid squatting.

Thanks very much. Rather than the usual greying out I experience after a heavy lift, I actually had the new and interesting flanging sensation to my hearing. Confused I had a sit down after that.

Squat (3s Wave)

Squats 5 x 10 x 55kg

Standing Lat Machine Abs - 3 x 15 x Plates s/s 3 x 10 x 40kg DB sidebends

To all you that can squat - you're all bas***ds. 140kg squat coupled to a 220kg deadlift...The joys of being skinny, tall and weak. Grin

Was going to do some squats, just for s**ts and giggles, but the bent over row (for row read shrug) t**ts were already ironing the crease out of their trousers in the squat rack, so I resigned myself to going on the rowing machine.

2000 meteres in 6:57 - Not bad for the first time in ages.

5 x 10 x Hanging leg raises.

Foam roller.

Well it is succinct and shows you stand by your autogas morals.

I don't think I would necessarily describe it as comedy gold though, or am I missing something?

If it was to a Mr Beaker, that would be legendary. If it was to Dr Bunsen Honeydew, I think the knighthood is assured.

Prowler: 10 x 25 metres (slight incline/decline) with 40kg added.

Vomit inducing.

I concur with exactly what 1369phil stated.

I suppose, sadly enough, there is a curiosity factor.

Read 'Reflections On The Guillotine' in "Resistance, rebellion and death" by Albert Camus - very interesting essay about his father witnessing the public execution of a child murderer in Algeria and how horrific his dad found it. Quite apt for this conversation...

First off, I would recommend, you decide if you want to lift weights for the sake of lifting weights, or if you want to lift weights to assist your martial arts.

Then look up programmes on the internet such as:

5/3/1
Westside For Skinny bas***ds

(Just because they're pretty much free as there is so much info on them and they can be used in and around sporting pursuits)

Choose one. Be consisitent. Have fun.

Irreversible is a great film - it is very violent, but has an awesome cast including Vincent Cassel (legend) and Monica Bellucci (down boy) and is a genuinely good film.

A Serbian Film, Antichrist et al. seem to be fairly happy wallowing in their notoriety and seem to be quite high up the tree marked "Self-Indulgent Artistic Nonsense" IMHO. Grin
