Every chiropractor I have been to, and every chiropractor my friends and family have been, has been a thieving rob dog. Each and every one of them has always said one of the two penny grabbing statements (if not both):

1) “You will have to book yourself into 5 sessions straight away – it will take at least that long to get this sorted”
2) “I’ve seen this hundreds of times – you’ll have to see me at least once a month for the rest of your life”

I have read in every article in magazines written by chiropractors that any one of them worth their salt should assess you on a session by session basis. I have never heard of a chiro who advises clients to book in for just one session, or that this will not be a prolonged drawn out excavation of your bank balance.

Feel a little sore this morning. But onwards and upwards. Happy

14/10/11 - Oh dear...

Squats - 3 x 5 x 75kg

Deadlidts - worked up to 5 x 155kg. On the 4th rep with 155kg, I felt a less than cosy popping sensation in my lower back/hip area, accompanied by the sense of something shifting position that was neither meant to, nor ever dared to before.

Dropped bar, took off belt, walked around gym with pins & needles all down my left leg.

Contemplated having a little cry with worry as to what the f**k just happened. Rang my brother who decided it was probably best to call it a day there.

Rolled The Stick on glute/lower back area for 5 minutes, then stood under hottest shower I could tolerate for 10 minutes. Had 4 ibuprofen. Awaiting tomorrow moring with pale faced dread. Unhappy

The presenter appears to be dying on his feet. Which is odd, because his body language throughout seemed to be of someone trying to get a better view.
I can only assume he was begging them to stop and/or put some clothes on.

The cameraman, however, could not get enough of it.

Squats - all to a bench (which is about 2" - 3" below parallel for me)

Squat - 5 x 90kg

Squat - 3 x 15 x 50kg (Was going to do 5 sets, but then felt something interesting in my leg so stopped it there)

Leg Extensions - 3 x 15 x 50kg

Weighted Ab Machine - 5 x 10

Pallof Press - 5 x 10

Leg Raises - 5 x 10
