Not dead, just not doing a lot in the gym this year. Traveling a lot with work (off to the Netherlands at 3AM in the morning). And being chairman of British Powerlifting is rather more time consuming than i expected! However at present: Bodyweight is around 117Kg. Squat is suffering at 140Kg. Bench is suffering at 105Kg. Deadlift is suffering at 180Kg. But then i am well into my sixties and only averaging one session / week. | |||

Friday 7th. Weight 119.15kg. Bench to 120kg. Deadlift to 200kg. Monday 10th. Weight 119.45kg. Squats to 150kg. 1/4 Squats to 190kg. Bench to 122.5kg. | |||

Covid completely wiped me out for a month Pete and also cost me 8kg in bodyweight. It was not fun and the effects / lethargy lasted a good 8-10 months. However, during the lethargic period niggling injuries healed. It's now been 15 months and i'm really feeling much better now. Take your time and look after yourself. | |||

Not the planned session, something not right. Strict OHP. Lots x 20 3 x 40 1 x 50 1 x 60 1 x 70 Failed miserably. the 67.5 felt comfortable last week but 70 was not getting above my head! | |||

Friday 29th October. Weighed in at 117.95kg. Eight lifters at the Farm tonight. Still just playing around with lifts. Hex Bar Deadlift. 5 x 80 4 x 130 2 x 160 1 x 190 1 x 215 Deadlifts. 5 x 70 5 x 120 2 x 150 1 x 170 1 x 190 Failed miserably. Deadlifts are really not playing at the moment. Bench. 2 x 10 x 20 8 x 60 6 x 80 4 x 100 3 x 105 2 x 110 1 x 115 2 x 110 3 x 105 4 x 100 5 x 90 Close Grip. No problems. |
