Loosing weight and lifting weights is kinda counterproductive in a way. The majority of us start lifting weights to get bigger, so why try to get smaller? Why not just focus on being strong, fueling your body correctly, and setting performance goals? Chances are you'll look and feel better. Just my 2 cents | |||

Sunday 28th Squat Warm ups then 127.5kg X 5 X 3 Deadlifts Warm ups then 200kg x 8 210kg X 3 Strict OH 66kg X 5 X 5 Finished with, calf, tricep and rear lat work. Training has been all over the place recently, just like my thoughts! I have been obsessing with different routines, squats, no squats, deadlift focus, all round powerlifts, 2 day per week training, 4 day per week etc and it's been going nowhere. From now on, I'm not going to stress about getting stronger, or thinking my squats and Deads will decline if I don't do them multiple times per week. I want to enjoy each session without the pressure of needing to do more than last time. With this in mind, I'm going back to my old routine, which is spread over 9 days. A little more focus on building muscle, and staying injury free. You never know, I may get a sneaky PB here and there. | |||

Friday 13/3/21 Starting doing safety bar squats and my back just felt rubbish + just had no desire to do them so.. Hip belt leaver Squat Warm ups then 140kg X 10 X 5 Good Morning 45kg X 10 X 5 Push Press Warm up then 80kg X 6 X 4 D.B clean and press 25kg X 8 X 4 Finished with the ABB wheel. In between most of the other exercises I did grip work (sledge hammer levers, captains of crush etc.) Which was nice. Have ordered a Spud Inc Magic Carpet (indoor sled) so I can get a couple of sled pulling sessions in a week again. | |||

I've swopped things around so I'll be doing dips after deadlifts. They seem to help decompress my spine after so should help recovery a little. | |||
