Solid stuff mate, all that squatting looked hard work though Eek

Sled pulling is awesome! And defo my fav type of conditioning!
The daily max squating was pretty tough!!

Sunday am Sled Pulling
20Kg on the sled today. Did 10 runs of 100 meters (5 forward,5 backward).
Much better weight selection as I didn't have to stop during each backward run.

Saturday 14/7/12

AM Sled Pulling
30Kg on sled (tyre) pulling on grass
Each run aprox 100 meters
Did 10 runs (5 and a half forward,5 and a half backward). Sled was probably a bit heavy as I had to stop a couple of times on the backward runs.

Wednesday 11/7/12

I've had enough of squating 3 x a week for now and have gone back to ironaddicts simple power based routine (basicaly that anyway) which is easily the most productive routine i've ever done.
Sled pulling will begin again on sat and sunday, unless i'm squating on monday in which i'll only do sled pulling on saturday.

Ive not even started events yet! I should do better than ever on log/deadlift. I would have thought keg might be ok in the rain?
Life with little one is good, just hard work really - hence training only a couple of times a week as its all I can recover from!

Nah man! Running with a wet keg on even wetter grass is a recipe for disaster! Plus my stone loading platform has gone all damp and rotten from all the rain Angry

Cheers martin, wondered where you had gone!
I do agree with the deload thing, part of it is my sore knees/shoulders - a sign I needed a rest. More strength to come.
How you feeling for dragons?

Mixed feelings for dragons. I'm pretty sure a deadlift PB is in the cards, and log is better than it's ever been (which is by no means good)! Everything else however is not so good. Bad weather has made training stones and keg impossible. Plus going on holiday for 2 weeks,3 weeks before the comp won't do me any favours either.

How's life with the little one??

I always found deloads harder than they should be,but they usually pay off the week after.
Great work recently Bryce!
