very short and sweet but struggling to find time to train as im working a lot at the moment

next training should be thursday night

by looking up you tend to keep your arse down, which means can push through your heels, therefore lifting with your legs and back not just your back.

had a great day today training events with edd and matt, top blokes!

didn't really do a warm up just had a mess about with a few things.

medley!

1.

2 tyre flips(300 kg ish i think matt said)
110kg farmers about 10m
cement mixer drag 20m (not sure how much this weighed

2.

2 tyre flips
130 kg farmers about 5m
cement mixer drag 20m a bit heavier than last time

stones!

1.

90 - 60 inch
115 - 50 inch

2.

115 - 60 inch

3.

90 - 54
115 - 54
anvil(130 kg ish)- 48 inch

4.

115 - 54 inch with 2m run ins x 5

good session to get use to the different events

thanks to edd for bringing his equipment down and to matt for letting us train at his place. i think edd will put some videos on here soon .....

good deadlifting today mate.

the log looked very narrow grip was it as bad as it looked? would explain all the no reps.

looked strong on the stones but seemed to muscle them up. not that im an expert, far from it. but it seems from watching it you would benefit from exploding with your hips a bit more. just an opinion.

was a good competition to watch.

not that ive been watching much 105 strongman until this year, but it looks like its on the up and the lads looked very strong today. and some of the boys wouldn't of looked out of their depth in the open later in the day!
