Hi everyone I thought i'd start a journal on here as i would like to start competing in some u105 strongman comps (when i get my strength up ) and thought I could get some advice off you all. I'm 21 and weigh 93kg as i speak. I want to put on some weight get up to around 100 kg but more importantly i want to improves my strength. Push press pb is 115kg unequipped squat 220kg done and equipped 280kg deadlift 220 (i'm rubbish at deadlifting this is something i really want to work on) unequipped bench of 150. Routines been all over at the moment usually 3 or 4 gym sessions with an upper and lower split. Been pulling cars and vans as i have access to a pulling harness but thats about it as far as equipment training has gone. Last nights session 1 arm standing dumbbell press (each side) 20 x 8 30 x 8 40 x 8 x 3 (heaviest dumbbell in the gym i was training at ) Seated pin shoulder press on smith machine (pins set around chin level) 60 x 8 80 x 5 100 x 5 120 x 3 140 x 3 Wide grip pull ups bw x 8 10 x 5 15 x 5 20 x 5 x 2 Shrugs 60 x 20 100 x 10 120 x 10 140 x 10 x 2 Hammer curl 26 x 8 x 4 Leg raises bw x 15 x 4
» Chains for squattig and benching (Go to post) | 29-04-2010 @ 22:38
They are the chains that are used to hoist skips up onto the vans that transport them. They are all joined together at the moment which is why i wanted to know what length to get them cut to. They are very heavy though

I've managed to get hold of some decent size chain but it needs cutting down in to suitable lengths. Only thing is is that i don't have any idea what lengths to get them cut into. Any ideas? |
