Good article regarding working within confines of templates was posted on EFS this week: http://www.elitefts.com/documents/beyond_the_template.h.... As a bonus it includes a picture of Joni in 20 years.

I'd like to see you do 5 singles with 137.5 on the bench and not call it a PB! That's one of the reasons why I've actually started adding the v to symbolise the volume PBs - so the proper PBs look more important, as they should. I don't attach an awful lot of significance to some of them (e.g. like Rick worrying his work out is s**t without his preacher curl 12 rep PB) but at the end of the day, a PB is a PB is a PB!

Ah, nice to meet you mate. I'm sure you were doing reps with 70 on squats - no way your max is 80. How long have you been lifting for etc.? By the way, nice to see someone squatting with good depth - not a very common sight at Sugden I assure you!

Maybe a seperate one for milk? Cant split threads yet but Jo if you read this I suggest starting another thread for your log and just pasting your work outs in - then I'll edit the existing one to a leg press dicussion thread. I've not added the view new posts page yet.

I am wearing the first ever Sugden Barbell T shirt. Will wear it tonight. Nice t shirt.. the font is a bit shinier than I thought it would be but it's cool. |
