Nice Q I was wondering myself-

I struggle with the pick so my Max is only 240. However my 18inch is 322 I havnt tried heavier but I can lockout anything from the knee. I envy those that can get that initial pick.

I'm the complete opposite, can pull anything from the floor to just above the knee but struggle at lockout. 310 from the floor and last time i tried 320 from 18" (although it was easy).

all you need to know about deadlift heights above lol

it has been too long since I varied deadlift heights that I can't remember exactly the figures but few years back would have had about a 250kg deadlift and done 270 x 3 reps on pull from blocks prob close to 18 inches. Never tried to maxed out for a single on blocks tho at that time but I dont remember ever failing a deadlift that I got over the knees.

Same here, knee onward is plain sailing. On farmers it's even crazier, I've done 180 each hand before but there's no way in hell I could get close to that from standard height on an oly bar.

I fail mid-shin. I've done 245 raw, 320 from a 19" and when my max was 200-210ish, I got 190x2-3 off a deficit (bar touching my feet)

Mix things up - rack pulls can improve grip, deficits can fix your form to some extent as it makes you concentrate on good tekkers. I found rack pulls taught me technique - if I had my head and chest up, the bar would come up easily. If not, it wouldn't budge.

Yes nails. At the gym when I do farmers I can sometimes go 155 each hand (not as much as you lol) then people are shocked that Im not getting big one rep deads. Its pathetic that I cant budge them. I think my prob is flexibility.

If your missing low id increase volume of deads off the floor (dependent on what your currently doing). If I have time after that then low block pulls and SLDL.

Personally feel block pulls, and deficits are often a better aid to those with poorer lockout.

Off course thats not considering whether your doing optimum tech for your biomech. Which isn't always an easy thing to work oit.
