That's all well and good, but when are you going to set up an assay to test the protein content?

Strongman,

Carry and press, only 10m between presses ,
40kg keg *3,
60*1,1,1,3, 3, 2
right hand under easier,
walk is knackering me,

with 20m run, what I will have in competition ,
60*3,knackered,
press is easy though tbh.

Keg Carry
60kg*60m, dead.

Farmers walk,
45*20m,
85*40m in 30 ish secs,
video, slow turn as was planning on 20m,
100kg*20m, video, very slow,
Happy to have it done though so can now worry about speed on lower weights.

Yoke
150*40m,
200kg*40m, 1 drop at 30, ****,
200*40m, no drops but slow.

Everyone came upstairs when I started yoke so had a big crowd cheering me on, they all went on to do 300+ or 400 ish for Lloyd.

Arm over arm pulls,
+35*20m,
+70*20, 20, killer.
Trying to work on technique here.

Weird barrel with poles carry,
75kg*60m ish, 30m ish, dead arms

You're either a fly that was hanging around at the gym today during my farmers or you're subscribed to my youtube channel. Wink

85kg Farmers for 40m. Very wobbly.

Slow turn as was planning on only doing 20 but did another since they were easy.

100kg Farmers for 20m. Slow but got there. Not quick enough to put Fear into Vausie and Sawyers though. Wink

The main problem with these was the 20s are too wide so they end up hitting and overlapping which screws up balance. Will grab extra 10kg plates from downstairs next time to stop this.

I just Self timed the Farmers from the youtube videos with a stopwatch as...

85kg for 20m in 11 seconds
85kg for 40m in 26 seconds
(Very slow turn as was not originally planning on 40m)

100kg for 20m in 17 seconds.

didn't want to use the fractions of a second as i don't have accuracy of exact pickup/drop times and this is good enough for now.

Also, After watching my 100kg youtube Farmers, Vausie's 100kg Farmers from last week was in the related videos. His was like 12 seconds with a turn at 10m. Lol. I'm slow. Tongue

Squats
bw*10, 20*8, 70*6, 100*3, 120*2,
belt on, 130*1,
152*3, 3, 3, 3, 3 nice,
some felt tough but not that bad I was going to fail.

Press
20*7, 30*5, 44*5, 50*5,
57*(5+)7, I think chance it may have been 6 or 8.

Wsm one arm press,
30*3/3,40*2, dead, just had no leg power left, and knees were aching again.

chins +20*4, +16*4, +8*4
Crap because I got fat.

Thanks. It's 20kg heavier than i've ever been before so i'm just bloody surprised that i made it the 20m without dropping it. My grip isn't as bad as i thought.

At the event it's 20m all one way so hopefully i'll practise at building up my speed and you'll be too used to doing only 10m you'll accidentally put it down 10m in just for fun. Wink

Weigh in 80.3kg,
Fine. Just above the weight i need but evening weigh in so am happy.

Fronties
20*8,40*5,60*4, 80*3, 90*1, 100*1,
117*5, 5RM.
lost fingers on right hand side at the end of final rep so Hitler'd it back into the rack. Wish i had it on video as was quite funny. Actual reps were fairly easy.

Bench
20 *8, 60*5, 80*2, 90*1,
97*3, 3, 3,
3RM, 3*3 PB
third set easy, kept bar in line,
final rep of second set tough.
If i work on keeping the form good then the reps fly up easily.

Deadlifts,
doh,
50*5, 90*3,2, 1,2,1, 110*3, 140*1,
mixed,
140*3, 2, 150*1,
140*3, 3, 3,
trying to work on my ****ty ****ty form. I hate deadlifting. It sucks. It's crap. I hate it. If i didn't need to deadlift for strongman i would just stop. I would just carry on with my bad form but this has caused me a bad back injury before which put me out for 9 months or so. These reps at 140 were alright. Some were nice, others weren't perfect but a thousand times better than my old ones. See Worthing 160*12 Turtle deadlifts for reference of old back breaking form.

Swiss bar clean and press,
51*10 ish in a minute,
Was going for 20 in quickest time possible for a 1000kg FTOH challenge, lost count completely. I was dying anyway though. The clean is a lot harder with a swiss bar compared to a log.
61*5, 5,
These were effort with cleans every rep. Felt more like the effort of doing the keg than log. 60kg log is piss.

Curls,
8*20,20, 20

Curls for the girls.

Just to stick my useless 2 pence in, looking round your log you don't seem to do much back work (ie bodybuilding style 5x10 lat pulldowns, seated rows, DB rows etc). And
when you do occasionally do pull ups you're only getting like 4 reps, at a very light bodyweight. Just jumps out at me brah, I'd work on it

Just my anecdotal observation but usually the people with an involuntary roundback deadlift they can't control usually do little/no back work

Thus ends my opinion you didn't ask for Tongue

edit: just noticed you did chins +20 the other day ! Eek that means when you're doing bodyweight ones for like 4 reps you're just being lazy

dont be lazy ! Grin
