Would assume most are u90s? Thanks! ![]() Richard Chapple took all the pics and did the effects. There's not many tbh. Most are u90. PTS in Northampton run a LOT of u80kg comps which is good. Atm i'm planning on going back there for an u80kg Novice in March next year and i plan to win it. Then to entire ESM u80kg they're running next July and i plan to come last. ![]() The 2 comps i am doing this year are both u90 though in August and November. | ||

Jsut thorugh i was being slow with 34kg. Lol. Log clean and pp, 70*2, 80*1, my belt on, 80*f, Matt belt and wrist wraps, 80*1, 1, third easiest so far. 80*f, lol. Actually a 1RM PB with the medium size log. Not as easy as i wanted but it's weird to be back pressing logs heavy. 38kg Monster dbell press *1,1,1, 3, 2, 1,1, trying techniques. Yoke. Think this yoke is 120ish empty. Empty *40m, +80kg*40m, 40m, 40m Was alright, fairly slow considering the weight. Conans walk with yoke. Empty*40m, 40m, *figure of eight(About 25/30m), *figure of eight. These were fairly damn tough. Stones, light to high platforms Did the 32kg to all of the heights Then the 50 to all of the heights 62 to all of the heights 74 kg i did to 2/5 and 3/5 with 5 being the tallest. It's that last bit which is tough. Realised after loading stones about 40 times that i had no videos from today so i video'd a cheeky 74kg stone to a high platform. You'll see this one is around head height. | ||

I found it awkward but fun. 17" inch deadlift (Training for max 18" at comp next year) 60*5, 110*3, belt on, 160*3, 180*1, 200*1, 210*1, 220*1, video'd the 3 heavy sets. Happy with that. Was looking for 220 as my target number before i started and got it. 227.5kg(500lbs next time i try) | ||

Was aiming for a triple but felt crap when i unracked it. didn't even really try. Db Seated press, 30*2, 26*5, 22*10, Meh, whatever dips, bw*10,10 just smashing them triceps. | ||

On video, need to upload soon. Bench paused , 20*5, 40*3, 60*3, 80*3, 90 6 triples, Was planning on going heavier but forgot as was coaching. Teaching a complete newb to squat and deadlift. Got him up to doing box squats with the bar and pulling 25kg(technique plates), not pretty but much better than the first attempts. Deadlifts, 40*5, 70*5, 110*3, mixed grip, 130*2, belt on, 150*12, stupid ****ing thighs being sticky The lockout of every rep sucked due to the thigh issue. It was like the bar hit it and was glued. forced soem through and bounced others over. Was so annoying. Need to chalk or talc up my tighs in future as shorts rode up. | ||

![]() Member 4115, 1247 posts SQ 195, BP 140, DL 220555.0 kgs @ 82.5kgs UnEq | 19th July 2014 Strongman events yesterday in the boiling heat medley, (Comp coming up is 40/80/65 then a ridiculous 105kg Yoke but i'm not even going to attempt it, well i might on the day but i don't expect to get it) monster db/log/axle, 38/70/55*1, practise 38/80/65*1,1 , full comp weights, flew up 38/70/65*1, 2 rounds. Doing 2 rounds is intense, Failed a clean attempt 2nd round on axle since i was power cleaning them straight up lazily. redid it five seconds later though. Yoke, different yoke, can't get height right. 130 *30m, 170*30, 30, 30 crap today Could not get comofrtable at all tbh. conans walk with Yoke 130*30(carry for turn), 130*30, These were alright. light stones to high platforms Just practising these. ended up with a 63kg stone balanced on my head at one point, lol. Did them to very high platforms then went home. | ||

I have a comp in 2 weeks time then will be training in a bit of a mess whilst i move and find a new job/gym etc before a build up to a comp in March next year i plan on winning. After that i will enter Englands strongest man u80kg next june and try and come not last. ![]() Squats, 20*5, 70*3, 100*3, 120*2, belt on, 140 *2, 150*1, 162*3, 2,2, 1, This was meh,. Technically a PB at this weight but i wanted 3 triples and didn't get it. Press 20*7, 40*4, 50*2 ,60*2, 69*2, 2, 65*3, 60*5, Meh , short session as i took too long warming up for squats slowly then ran out of tiem and had to gtfo in a rush. nvm. | ||
