Squats are always brutal.

SOlid work but particularly on the bench. You touch and go in training im guessing?

yeah touch and go on the bench at the minute just to try and get my numbers up a bit, i will prob pause the last couple of reps on the last heavy set next cycle, or the cycle after.

this is my first deload week of the 5/3/1 program. i decided to do the press and deadlift on the same session, rather than driving all the way to the gym for just 5 minutes, i will do the same with the bench and squat later in the week.

PRESS
22.5k x 5
30k x 5
35k x 5

DEADLIFT
70k x 5
85k x 5
102.5k x 5

to give myself a proper rest and deload i am leaving off the assistance exercise this week. the session must have taken all of 10 minutes!

well thank god my deload is over, my first session of the second cycle felt great Happy

5 x 10 @ 40k was originally going to do it with 37.5k, glad i used 40k tho
