I done powerlifting for 5 years and use to suffer from really bad tendonitis my left elbow was/is the worse it is at its worse when squating ive tried a wider grip on the bar but didnt like it. anyway ive had almost two years out and not a bit of pain ive been back now a couple of months and BOOM the pains back! i dont bother my arse with the doctor anymore tried all his pills and potions diclofenac ibuprofen ect ect no real differnce and he's advised me to stop lifting heavy but as you all know you dont want to hear that. just wonder if there was anything other than your standard painkillers that would help??
i do hot and cold therapy it helps short term im looking for some hardcore drugs Grin

Voodoo cure is good, did that recently for my training partner.

I'd try and figure out what's causing it as well, in my experience low-bar squats are a common cause.

Mixing things up a bit, away from the usual SQ/BP/DL works well too. Try to get a few sessions where you're keeping the weight off the elbow every month.

Not exactly a cure but it has definitely helped me wearing elbow sleeves when squatting! I have the double plys from strength shop, they are that tight they hurt my biceps, but dont feel any pain int elbows

If you have a band or something similar it works. Some people have said it last a good few days / week and i was speaking to Damo today who said his lasts 24 hours.

Only takes 5 minutes so can atleast do it before training !

The voodoo cure has worked well for my knee, and it helped my brother get through the rugby season with a shoulder injury.

The main thing I found that helped me when I had tendonitis in my elbow was rice digs. I just filled an old 2.5kg whey protein tub and use that. It has also helped with forearm and tricep problems too.

Try these:
