anything from the lifting shoes ? i used to use them for rowing , but sold them

my wife did some gardening today , i went for a ride on my bike , social distance n all.

I normally wear flat pumps and my feet wobble about a bit, with the Olly shoes felt a lot more locked down.

Last year I broke the M2 93kg class British bench records classic and equipped ,with best comp lifts 165.5kg and 212.5kg after a while doing not much my bench prowess has disappeared this morning 120x3 was crushing.

I am going to have to put myself thru the wringer to get to sub7 , I hope somewhere in that natural talent you have is some suffering !!

There are 625 guys in my class in the 2k rankings

need around 7.11 to get in the top 100!

Even if you get the covid you should be fit enough to survive it.

The rankings are slightly more forgiving for me - i am 42nd , but would see anything less than sub 7 as failure , so i would be looking at top 20 , and top 10 in the EIRC or the BRIC competitions (my previous best was 9th as i recall)

its a shame i am never going to dabble again as i feel it wold send me into some very nice places in both training and competing , but i value overall health over looking awesome and placing higher in comps.

Boarskin You can get sub 7 I am sure, just don't chase too many Rabbits at once.

My old programme you would steadily build up to do 90minute rows not sure if I have the inclination for that at present.

yea, my old training included mostly intervals with the weekly 5000m , so i may not start too fancy and over complicate things.
