Feeling buoyed by a couple of good sessions bring on the TR tomorrow. | ||

Another cruddy night, struggle to get motivated and thinking of HD even on the warm up and just about every stroke but somehow managed to battle through. ERG 10mins 2421m 20 121 4x3TR 3MR 903m 1.39.6 31 159 902m 1.39.7 31 167 902m 1.39.7 33 172 885m 1.41.6 31 173 tank completely empty. Cold shower followed by Hot tub 1x30 UT3 6676m 17 112 week 11 done 92,140m. 4x4TR and 5x4TR this week do i extend the rest? drop the pace? split the reps? or a bit of all? | ||

![]() old age traveller Member 332, 7919 posts | Feeling a bit rubbish today should of took notice of elevated HR on warm up. erg 6mins 1376m 19 119 2x15 UT1 4037m 1.51.4 23 154 3883m1..55.8 23 149 Should of been 4x15 I started rep 1 with an aim at 1.50 but HR was maxed after 7 minutes and had to decelerate. Rep 2 started aiming for 1.53 but HR was maxed after 4 minutes and I felt pretty rubbish so limped the rest of the way. Have spent most of the day in self pity on the sofa. (wife and boy are also groggy) Hopefully tomorrow will be back on plan | ||

Supposedly 3x8AT for me today but no way was that a realistic prospect. 4x10m UT3.5 2001m 2.29.9 15 93 2225m 2.14.8 16 113 2148m 2.19.6 16 108 2075m 2.24.5 14 106 I can see this week being much the same (as today) and restart week 12 next Monday. The optimist thinks I will get up tomorrow feeling great and do todays and tomorrows sessions ![]() | ||
