Bit creaky and tired today especially left lat obviously not used to the deadlifts, plus I had 2 bottles of becks blue last night no wonder I am feeling ropey!

4x15UT1

4004m 1.52.3 23 149

4000m 1.52.5 24 153

4001m 1.52.4 23 154

4001m 1.52.4 24 154

Had to cheat the HR a bit on the last 2 in the final minute to make 4k.

Bin of doom 5minutes or so, When I read it cured Ned's leprosy I thought i should try harder The first minute is the worst then I just got uncomfortably numb. It was great to break the ice with my foot!!! the bin is so cramped I think to "enjoy" it more I need a larger vessel.

Thanks, the thought of trying to get the first set/rep done at 1.45 was not a happy one.

1 hour of dumbbells, shoulders and arms started in shed but they were SO cold I went inside(we have a set of chrome bells 1-10kg) and suppersetted with lego.

Turns out I have been "intermitent fasting" most of my life!
Dinner (Northerners erroneously refer to this meal as "tea") 5pm breakfast 8am!
I just need to nuture those 3 strands of hair which appear in the middle of my head and take up smoking then I can Whim Wham BOf Hoff.

The TR is getting more palatable now my body remembers the pain.

Excellent jt, that is some pace to keep on the first rep when there are three more to follow! Your time's didn't dip much either, what rest did you take on them?

I was taking my usual 5-7minute breaks, as the programme moves on I aim to reduce that. I have 4x2 this week I am going to set the intervals to 2MR and try not to die too badly.

Start of week 10 today, it seems to be going by fast!

ERG 10mins 2426m 19 122

2x15 UT1

4069m 1.50.5 24 155

3980m 1.53.0 23 155

5mins 1213m 20 132

I tried the BIm method today, I was pretty sure I would not like it and I was right!

12 minutes in the bin of doom, I have done away with the crate inside the bin but still find it horribly uncomfortable my knees and toes especially crammed against the side of the bin are getting battered. I need a plan B.

I have had a pair of slippers for about 10 years which have been worn more in the last week than in the decade of owning them!

Lovely TR and UT1 sessions. Great paces you're holding there.

Do you not time your rest periods, do you go off HR, or do just go when you feel ready? Or none of those?

Thanks, I don't set the PM3. I look at my phone (no clock in shed) do my stuff have a piss towel off get dressed have a drink do some stretching get undressed get back on the machine. I have about a thousand distractions out in the shed to tinker with though!!!!

My HR will be back to ready to go again within 2 minutes the rest of me will not be, at this stage I am focussing on the quality of every repetition.

As the sessions get shorter (TR And AN) I will start setting the Rest period and stay on the machine.

30 minutes hot tub tonight.

Happy lockdown MKlll.

Sounds good to me. How long do you set the rests to on your phone?

30 mins in the hot tub - I could handle that! Never mind all this bin nonsense.
