Feeling a bit off today, as shown by HR up on warm up.

10minutes 2400m 19 128 (5 higher than yesterday)

2x6 AT (158-170)

1736m 1.43.6 28 166

1681m 1.47.0 27 168

1638m 1.49.8 26 164

10minutes 2222m 18 127

I had been looking forward to this session with equal dread and anticipation, within a minute I was questioning my sanity and thinking maybe I should train for a marathon instead. (different type of hurt) 2nd rep felt good so I did a bonus 3rd. Should warm up better and or do the first one slower and get better average across all reps.

Excellent work jt. I have started to slow down a touch on the first rep and even the times out a little, it doesn't give you quite as much of a mental battering.

Nice low SR. I rowed at a similar pace and HR today but SR was considerably higher. Something I need to work on.

I had 3 bags initially, I put 7 down yesterday and another 6 this morning thankfully I have an electric mixer.

2x7 AT today BUT

Again, the first rep was horrible the second more tolerable so a third was done I figure while I have the time and inclination the extra rep is worth it for days when I may not be able to "do them all"

Thats my 18th sub 7 in 20 years!!!! 8 of them done in the last 6 months.

That's a pretty crazy stat when you consider your focus hasn't even been on 2k for a good while.

Definite 6:30 in there.

Programme for today 2x10AT but after a turd night and a days graft I could not face it and did tomorrows (sort of) WO and will do the 2x10 tomorrow when hopefully somewhat fresher.

ha ha this made me laugh , latex levelling is more of an art than a science and you always need more than you think.
