Long grumpy day with a knot in my upper back causing discomfort. Went out to see an old friend for 30 minutes

JSL, got the outside finished today (apart from the fancy doors which are hopefully going to be made soon) I am building a bespoke FRUIT CAGE this week.

bespoke FRUIT CAGE !!

not just any fruit cage, a jt fruit cage ( like a rabbit hutch ?)

where are we heading with this awesome training ? what PB is getting busted open next ?

Fruit cage to stop the fruit escaping!

6mx4m cage to stop FEKKIN bods (father jack) eating the fruit from bushes yet to be planted, think ribus negrum etc.

I think my seasons M is most in danger of being broken, would like a 500m in the 1.24's when feeling up to a crack.

Having watched MR BIm's splendid progression I reckon I should try what he has done my trouble is plan stickability.

I find having a solid goal / set of goals I'm constantly aiming for helps a lot with stickability, I have to use them or I know training will suffer or even fizzle out.

MR BIM, the shorter the row the higher the drag. 1x500 155drag 8x500 135 drag. SPM capped @16 max drag.

Last week I did 10@ 1.43.3 with a massive variation in pace. Today `i was aiming for 10 more evenly paced but my legs were smashed after 8. I rowed the first minute long slower strokes then upped the rate for second minute.

Nice.

I can see these sessions being massively beneficial simply for how hard they are.
