Fantastic effort on the 1k jt, you've certainly been putting the work in for it, brilliant work! I love a negative split, just so long as it's only a touch faster than the others they seem the best paced for myself. 3:06 is probably already in the bag Grin some good motivation for the coming weeks.

Very nice, JT.

There’s life in the old dog yet!

I appear to be 10 seconds or so off the pace here. I need to try and rectify that.

Looks like an awful session. Grin

Glycolytic system training is the worst.

Edit: I meant awful as in the pain way, not the performance!

Yep, that looks bad, quite a pace to keep, were you pretty much flat out on them?

True Flat out would be 50+ spm and low 1.20s, flat-out in the sense of knowing I have 5 reps to do and need to hold back the first couple yes. Was also mindful of trying to keep the SR down to 1k max effort area.
Super busy today still have a list of jobs yet to finish.

Closing in on that WR pace. In fact, you've gone a bit faster than the current, recent British record pace.

Must be nice to work outside when the weather is like this.

Sadly the next exact division of 2000m is 200m, that should bring the pace down somewhat!!!!

It's nice to be dry, but anything over 20 degrees Celsius is not fun to graft in. You are probably looking out of the nice cool classroom wishing to be outside and I am looking in wishing to be inside!!!!!

Good point. I've been sweating profusely all day in my shirt and pants, so wouldn't call it nice and cool. But I agree, it's certainly much cooler than outside.

I went to the local sainsburys superstore tonight (first time since lockdown) to get some new flip flops, none to be had for men but plenty for women so much for equality!! There was also a good selection of Bra's for women but none for men. Should I do a Wayne?

Did some COC supersetted with watering the garden got 5reps no2 RH.
