week 3 day 4
Had a tight quad so didn't want to risk squatting today as go on hoonymoon in just over a week so not pushing myself for no reason. Will squat tomorrow and deadlift.

Last day of bench and was probably the best meaning bar path and tekkers.
Sets 16-20 135kg 3+ reps

set 1x5
set 2x4
set 3x4
set 4x3
set 5x3

dbell press 3x8

dips 3x10

AMH press 5x5 (really enjoyed these but harder then presumed)

cable flyes 3x12

v bar pushdown 3x10

Even tho bench isn't feeling great atm i feel very strong with it and all the volume and think at the British bench (if i do it) a big pb will come as im getting reps out comfortably with out it being great if that makes sense.

Squats feeling stronger then ever and first full power of next year looks like march 250kg is my goal and i think by the way they are going (if i stay injury free) i think its realistic. We are moving in with mum to try save for a house so this means food prepped and alot of it and the good stuff so big winter gains

So this week is 25 sets of each lift :-0

Squats 205kg 3-4 reps a set
Bench 142.5kg 3-4 reps a set
Deads 207.5kg 2 reps a set

Feeling confident about squats this week

Was harder then thought! If it was only 5 sets this week I would have got 4 per set but not burning out.

Bench was dreading as last weeks felt s**te
142.5kg 6x3-4 reps going to bench 4 days this week

Actually really went well and form felt near perfect. No lift off on sets 1,2,3,5

Was f**ked by this time as trained early for me and only been up for a hour and it showed as all sets where grim but got it done

yesterdays session went well
Bench 6x3-4 142.5kg set 7-12 for this week

set 1x3
set 2x4 (pb) will post vid later

really happy with how bench has felt this week but used a bit to much leg drive on last couple of sets tho

Lat pull 5x10 slow controlled and really stretch at the top

Dbell row 4x10

seated row 3x8

rest day today then smash it the rest of the week.

Not posted for a while as been away. Finished my 4th week off and the day before we went away me and my cousin went in to do arms and I ended up benching 165kg for a PB pause press after doing 25 sets of 3 reps @142.5 kg so was quite happy also a PB with my sling of 182.5kg i haven't used sling in about a year and half and have missed it dearly.

Not trained since we got back will start again Monday.

Got a charity bench comp today which is 75% of BW for AMRAP which big z is handing out trophy for and then a big z seminar which is part the reason i haven't trained as wanted to be fresh for today.

Been thinking when away and going to give strongman a go next year after the British bench i think.

So the big z seminar was amazing!
Got a message off the guy running it saying to call him and I called him and he wanted me to do the interview so I got to interview Big Z and it was unbelievable, his honesty and insite into strongman was amazing!
After the interview it was onto events!
Log,squat and dead!
He showed me where I went wrong on a log and then squats he pushed me to going heavy after not squatting in 3 weeks so I went up to 220kg which is 15kg less then pb but was in front of z which makes it the greatest sqiat I've ever done haha

Such a nice guy and has given me the motivation to go into BNSF next year! He went through how he trains and gave so many tips! Great guy truly is and for £15 was a bargain!
